How to mix different brands of solar panels?
During the mixing process, it is ensured that each panel has one S1, up to 3 S1s in series in the case of series connection, and that the power of each solar panel is less than 230W, on this basis, it can be connected in parallel, the specific upper limit depends on the battery current withstand limit.
What is the maximum number of panels supported?
Series ≤3 blocks (voltage limit) , parallel ≤12 blocks (current limit) .
Does shadowing affect power generation efficiency?
Anti-shadow technology ensures efficient power generation. Traditional system veneer shading leads to overall efficiency degradation; whereas SolexBrick S1 optimizes independently for each board, maintaining 100% output power for the other boards even with partial shading.
How long does it take to charge a battery pack?
It will vary depending on the battery you are using. Can be estimated using the following formula.
Formula:Battery Capacity(X wh=VxAh)/Input Power(W)x 1.2 or more for buffer e.g. If the output of Solarbag 400 is around 380, a 12.8V 100AH battery(1280AH)can be fully charged in 1280/380 = 3.3 hours. Due to the weather may it be longer like 3.3 hour x 1.2=4hours.
Normally a 100Ah battery can be fully charged half day. And in good weather the OptiSolex 400W Portable SolarBag can help you to charge 200Ah 12V Battery for daily use.
Are extreme environments available?
Operating temperature range: -40 °Fー149 °F Heavy rain/dust is still working normally.

If Your Solar Equipment (IP67/IP68) Gets Flooded:Turn Off Power – Shut down the system immediately to prevent electrical hazards.Check the IP Rating.
IPX4 (Junction box of Solarbag): Can handle splashes (like rain), but NOT submersion or high-pressure water.
IPX7(200W mountable solar panel): Can handle temporary submersion.
IPX8 (S1): Can withstand deeper/longer submersion.
Dry It Out:Unplug and remove excess water.Let it air-dry completely (24-48 hours) or use silica gel packs.Do not use heat (like a hairdryer), as it may damage seals.
